I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner that strongly believes in patient-centered care and utilizing a holistic approach for treatment.
Since mental health affects so many areas of a person’s life, I work with my patients to find a plan that optimizes their overall health and wellness and will provide the best balance to one’s life.
I believe every person is unique and should be treated as such. Everyone has their own story filled with their own daily battles, hopes and goals. Like our name the White Lotus represents, I think that all people have the potential to bloom beyond the muddy waters and overcome their adversities. Sometimes working through those hardships may take a little extra help, which is where my services can be beneficial.
I believe in following evidence-based practices for psychopharmacology and psychiatry, so I read daily on the subject to stay relevant. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, consultation-liaison, group therapies, intensive outpatient programming and with nursing homes.
I am originally from North Dakota and hope that through my services I can give back to the community that has given so much to me.
