Both Maronda and tom are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Maronda is certified in EMDR. While each therapist uses a variety of evidence-based approaches, EMDR has become a particularly meaningful part of their work. Through ongoing training and experience, both have seen how EMDR helps clinents access the brain's natural healing processes and create deep, lasting change.
EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and address the root causes of trauma and other concerns, not just the symptoms.
